Marceline picked up a much-needed win on Monday night, defeating Schuyler County 68-48 in Queen City.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-5 before a home back-to-back with Harrisburg and Brookfield on Thursday and Friday.
Sophomore Luke Abeln led all scorers with 21 points, and classmate Wyatt Molloy had 18. Chris Dixon was also in double figures with 10 points.
"We played really tough defensively, and that created some turnovers for them," Marceline coach Jordan Aulbur said. "We have to keep that energy and intensity rolling, and that'll put us in a really good position the rest of this week."
Schuyler remains winless at 0-10 with the loss.
