The City of Marceline issued a statement Friday morning regarding its plan to take steps in opening the city in the wake of coronavirus.

Effective Tuesday, June 16, City Hall is open in its full capacity. At the same time, security tape in Marceline’s parks was removed and the parks became freely accessible to the public.

Beginning on July 1, the pool will be available for reservations for private parties.

The City says that it will issue no further update regarding actions and policies unless the number of cases drastically increases or actions are mandated by higher authority.
