Reception to honor ratification of 19th Amendment

The United States Congress voted to ratify the 19th Amendment on Aug. 26, 1920, giving women the right to vote. The Grand River Historical Society Museum is hosting a ladies’ evening to honor the historic event at 6:30 p.m., on Wed., Aug. 26 at the museum.

Pam Clingerman, museum curator, will give a short presentation, along with a video and light refreshments.

Masks are optional there is space in the museum to allow for social distancing. All are welcome.
