Free Information Session at Pershing Health System
BROOKFIELD – Navigating Medicare can feel overwhelming, but Pershing Health System (PHS) is offering the community a chance to learn more in a relaxed and easy-to-understand setting.
On Tuesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m., PHS will host a free public Medicare Information Session with Shannon Brenneke in the Hospital Education Room (downstairs). Attendees are invited to enjoy coffee and cinnamon rolls while learning about their Medicare options.
The session, titled “Understanding Your Medicare Options & Simplifying It,” will provide clear explanations on important topics including:
• What Medicare covers—and what it doesn’t;
• Prescription drug plan choices; and
• How to manage deductibles, copayments, and other costs.
Differences Between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans
“This session is designed to take the confusion out of Medicare,” said Brenneke. “We’ll give people the tools and confidence to make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.”
The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to RSVP by calling 660-258-1263 so PHS can prepare enough coffee and cinnamon rolls.
💡 Mark your calendar! PHS will also host another free Medicare meeting on October 29 at 11 a.m., with a different presenter, offering another opportunity for community members to learn and ask questions.
